Not sure, but the games are there to be downloaded. This is only a small number of games, so there could well be nothing wrong and results might pick up. Too early to say.Engin wrote:what happen with Tornado ?

Cheers,
Graham.
PS - CEGT testing seems to indicate a good improvement over 3.6.7, so probably nothing to worry about.

Re: Standings after Round 36 of 44
Hi Engin,
now 500 games in SWCR-64 are played.
Version 4.25 works fine.
I test version 4.30 with 400 games on an other Q9550 system I have. Performance from 4.25 is around 30 ELO better as version 4.30. Now version 4.4 is out. Next year I will used your actual version but version 4.25 works fine with around +75 to 3.6.7 !!
Games can be download after the tourney if all new engines 1.000 games played ... around December 13th, 2010.
Best
Frank

it is ok that you take the best one, i am mostly correcting bugs and try some new ideas on Tornado, but seems that this sometimes not so good, i dont have so much time for testing intensively as you are doing, but you can help me to find the best one and i am try to beat the best one in the next versions.
maybe 4.4 is not good as 4.3 and 4.25 but i fixed a bug in passed pawns this version and implement to avoid in some positions to not waste of time with null move search, this idea is not new but its save time and make it faster searching, its may that this have bug too, i dont know yet.

Hi Engin,
I understand exactly what you mean.
But I have at the moment a lot of different work and not many time for chess. I am happy if I can update the SWCR page 1x daily.
Perhaps I can search a little bit in 2-3 weeks.
Best
Frank
The reason that I am happy that so many updates are in my still running tournament, so I have not many work in the time the tournament is still running.
