I wonder if chessGUI is capable of handling swiss with 2 games per pairing with color reversed and same opening.

Only downside running a Swiss under ChessGUI is that you can't replay any games if you get a bad opening.

To do that manually, go to TOURNAMENTS folder and edit 3 files:
1) Schedule: "*" as in "964 X-X-X-X * X-X-X-X Stockfish 2.0.1 x64 JA X-X-X-X IvanHoe 9.54b w32"
2) *.s1e: "*" as in "16.0 3096 000 001 0003:b= 0001:w*" for both engines.
3) *.e1e: reduce nPlayedCnt by 1
