I'll gladly give you a hand :) Just come to the ChessWar broadcast in the evening (European timezone) and we'll sort things out.

Thanks Olivier. I'll try later, but I'm crashing early most nights at present due to a persistent bug (please excuse all the puns in that). :)

ChessGUI 0.232 and TLCV

ChessGUI 0.232 and TLCV

- an important detail in TLCV support fixed.

ChessGUI now reliably uses GUI book with WB and UCI engines in TLCV mode.

http://www.chessgui.com/chess/ChessGUI.zip

1) Install server and viewer (client) of TLCV.
2) Set TLCV in ChessGUI Preferences, and play a game to create TLCV_File.txt in OUTPUT folder.
3) Edit server.ini in TLC Server folder so that PATH=...path\TLCV_File.txt
4) Start TLC Server.
5) Set folder of server in TLCV client, then set "Local mode" and connect
6) Play games and watch them in client.
7) If going online does not work, ask Olivier

Thanks Matthias. By the way, I don't have a server.ini folder in my TLCV folder. That's where I'm getting confused. If I'm up to it, I'll ask Olivier later.

That is only the viewer (client).
As a broadcaster, you also need the TLC Server.

Matthias - could you please check that tablebases adjudication isn't broken in ChessGUI 0.232?

Thanks,
Graham.

I see nothing wrong.
Can you send me evidence that something may be wrong ?

Might just be something with the Arasan 13.1 games. Will get back to you.

Definitely something wrong. I've had to switch back to an earlier version. When there are five pieces left on the board, the game just continues even though I have tablebases adjudication ticked.
Could it happen as a result of ticking the TLCV option?

Graham.
