Did you write Nebiyu? The use of a Mobile device is fine. Hardware is open in the tournament. When you say mobile, will you be using a WIFI connection or some service that gives you internet access on the go. If the latter, then I'd be concerned about connection reliability and the connection lost rule.

Oh yes that is my chess variants engine if this is the first time you heard about it :) Don't worry I will be sitting at home on saturdays and sundays and I will have good connections I am sure. I play with it on FICS all the time, so if there are problems it will not be in my side. I just want to test my android app with a GUI and make some advertisement on the way... I can do tests if that is required.. Maybe I will try HGM server first.

Are you being deliberately difficult ? I registered NebiyuChess two days ago.
You seem to ignore my request here and email registration for whatever issues you may have had with me, but like you said the tournament is open hardware and open for anyone.

We currently have 7 entries from 5 countries:

Deep Sjeng/Sjeng Belgium Gian-Carlo
The Baron/thebaron The Netherlands(Assistance: Germany, Italy and Romania) Richard Pijl
Arasan/ArasanX CA USA Jon Dart J
Goldbar The Netherlands Bart Goldhoorn
Telepath NC USA Charles Roberson
NebiyuChess/dshawul Ethiopia
Jabba/JabbaChess United Kingdom Richard Allbert

Also, while never attempted, we do allow dedicated units in the tournament as long as there is only one of a given unit in the tournament.

IIRC, Ian Osgood posted a method to directly connect Novag units to ICC. I recall he had a Novag Sapphire to FICS for a while.
