I compiled myself for modern executables without any changes:https://drive.google.com/file/d/14fv-do ... sp=sharing
And I noticed that users_build.sh has missing executables. If we use these lines:
mke NOIR=yes && wait
mke BLUEFISH=yes && wait
mke BLUEFISH=yes FORT=yes && wait
mke HONEY=yes BLUEFISH=yes && wait
mke HONEY=yes BLUEFISH=yes FORT=yes && wait
mke HONEY=yes && wait
mke HONEY=yes FORT=yes && wait
mke FORT=yes && wait
mke WEAKFISH=yes && wait
mke
instead of:
mke NOIR=yes && wait
mke BLUEFISH=yes FORTRESS_DETECT=yes && wait
mke BLUEFISH=yes && wait
mke HONEY=yes BLUEFISH=yes && wait
mke HONEY=yes FORTRESS_DETECT=yes && wait
mke HONEY=yes && wait
mke WEAKFISH=yes && wait
mke FORTRESS_DETECT=yes && wait
mke
the problem will be solved.
Best Regards...
crap - that was a late change - thanks for pointing that out - good catch - I had gotten tired of typing "mke HONEY=yes FORTRESS_DETECTION=yes" at the command line for just one build . That's a shortcut for one build without touching the Makefile "mke" is a personal alias for standard "make -j PROFILE-BUILD ARCH= etc etc"

Also I noticed yesterday , in the On-line engine blitz tourney June, Honey was not kibitizin the mate score when it found mate - will be fixing that too. Will remove all exes for now until fixed.

I think the modern builds are still not working in my pc. I normally use modern(popcnt) but your release is still not working. Did you updated your binaries?
Best Regards...
Yes, does it work in console mode ( no GUI ) or does it only not work in the GUI - which GUI are you using . are you on Windows - and which version you to give as much info as possible for me to help you help yourself. the Linux were broken and I took them down - too busy at the moment. Do any of them work on your PC?. I need to get a description of the error. In console mode , you will see it, in the GUI , it's hidden and you will need to log the event and there will a message when it quits. I cant fix it by myself without the errors messages. I need a little help. You can also install mingw and build yourself as well . I will help you help yourself, but there is no warranty or desktop support. If it works, great, if not, I'm truly sorry.
The binaries (Windows-Modern) didn't work for me neither.
The console starts for a couple of seconds and then close.

The compiles from Dann Corbit are OK.

Honey-XI-r2 has been released with GUI bug fixes.

https://github.com/MichaelB7/Stockfish/ ... tag/XI-r2r

Multiple flavors of Windows binaries have been uploaded.

Will add macOS and Linux binaries as time permits.

The primary issue was to fix a mate reporting issue in GUIs. Whether it fixes the other issues being reported here, I do not know. But please let me know. I did have to do a clean reinstall on Msys2 today so that may have been contributing to problems for users as well ( inconsistencies in the tool chains).

Let me know.

Thanks again, modern compile now fine with Fritz and Win7x64 too.
