I wish test position best move data was in algebraic (g1f3 etc) as per uci specification. Humans can’t anyway interpret a fen without putting it through some software, so why the move field has to be in human-oriented format escapes me. From POV engine programmer g1f3 format is way easier to process.

Re: EN-Test 2022 - new testsuite
I have completed my test. I don't buy commercial engines, except as a complete product with a GUI.
That's why I was able to test Powerfritz 18.
Both of my engines (Solista) are based on current Stockfish code, but not only parameters have changed. However, this makes it possible to implement the latest Stockfish patches. I did that today.

My Engine Solista Attack v3 got these patches:

Re: EN-Test 2022 - new testsuite
EN-Test 2022 under Fritz GUI, step by step:
(I was asked about it)
I use Fritz 18 for my test. The test runs automatically.
Step 1: Load Engine

Step 2: Select "Process Test Set"

Step 3: Select the database (CBH format)

Step 4: Select the time and click OK

Step 5: The test will now start automatically

GUI stops the process after the last position, and you can copy the result as text.

Re: EN-Test 2022 - new testsuite
I don't think the result here is a coincidence. The engine also plays very well on the server. Here I was at kibitzing:

By the way, all Attack Engines playing here also use my CTG book:
https://solistachess.jimdosite.com/books/
I am happy!

Re: EN-Test 2022 - new testsuite
I want to get rid of a few words. I didn't develop this test to put my engine in first place. Up until a few weeks ago, I didn't know of any test suite at all. It was only after I sent my engine to two friends that I found out about the ERET test and Stockfish Testsuite 2021. As for the results, I didn't even know if they were good or bad. I had to ask. I asked: is that good or bad? The answer came: Is that good? And whether!
After that I studied the positions and I didn't like some positions. That was the reason why I developed the EN-Test 2022. The reason wasn't a bad placement in other tests, because that was great. I can say with a clear conscience that the EN-Test 2022 was created without any previous engine tuning! The results are as they are, without prior tuning!
I still don't like some positions of the test. Example: castling attack (position 11). Whether White plays dxe5 or Nf3 is almost irrelevant. Also Nf3 clearly wins. However, dxe5 is better. I don't like such positions 100%, but there will never be a 100% best test. Position tests also need to be constantly improved. That's what I intend to do in 2023. But if you wait for everything to be 100% perfect, then you can wait forever.
That's why I published this test.
About my engine:
I have studied thousands of engine games from the server. Lots of games, move by move. I have studied all known and unknown openings and variants, and many killer-lines. My friend Detlef Uter has been playing with my openings book for several years, and he has played more than 100.000 5+0 server games with Ponder ON (up to 64 cores) on PlayChess in the last 2 years. Then of course I also have thousands of my own games, and thousands of MZ (also 64 cores). I manually checked every winning! That's where my books come from. I can say with a clear conscience that I have a lot of experience.
I didn't like some things I've seen at Stockfish, sorry to say, but that's the way it is. I really appreciate the Stockfish community! What is being done there is fantastic. Hundreds of new codes and parameters are tested every day. And everything is documented exactly - that's unbelievable.
However, only bullet games are played in the fish test. To get a high number, it is not possible others to test. Every Elo point is fought for. That's good.
I'm not a programmer. But in the meantime I have learned what is important and how to replace the codes.
Short Example:
Old code:
r -= ss->statScore / 13628;
New code:
r -= ss->statScore / (13628 + 4000 * (depth > 7 && depth < 19));
Substituting code (or parameters) is not a great art. I test a lot with it (also with other fish cooking codes).
That's my fun. My goal now is to tune Stockfish in such a way that it achieves the best results, both in position tests and in practical play on the server with Ponder On (not Bullet). The online games are more important.
Yesterday on the PlayChess server I kibitzing the tournament. My Engine Solista Attack v4 has played. I wasn't even there a minute before I was being accosted with "our new star programmer is here". Whatever you do, it's either wrong, you've cheated, or it's being mocked. Why goes it not different?
That's why I'm satisfied, that yesterday Solista Attack v4 won the tournament a few minutes later! Really funny.
