it was you who played 9 ... Ke8 as a "unanymous" move for us.
There went our castling rights. Maybe we had no better move, anyway.

Probably not. If there was one, none of us was able to suggest it, so we should live with it. We shouldn't blame Gerold as we're a team. :)

My post is solely aimed at pointing out when we lost the castling rights Gerold asked about. Amusing is of course that our only move came from Gerold himself. Just thought he missed that interesting detail.
I have not and don't need to scrutinize the moves played while I was away.

When you get as old as me and have 4 jobs going at the same
time you may forget a chess move that did not happen today. :)

With about 6 hours to go to TC it seems that the forum's move is
12..Rxf6 and is unlikely to change

if no one objects i will accept that as the move and have the MDC's 13th move in about 6 hours
