I can confirm the issue with Shredder GUI here as well, with the Viridithas 14.0.0 Github download and Windows 11, 13th Gen Intel. Not a problem for me though, I haven't used that GUI for a few years.

Hi Modern Times,

I saw that the programmers made an update for 4 hours (bugfix terminal mode settings).
Wrote that ... not that Jim try to compile without that bugfix and lost to many time with it.

Thanks for your test and confirmation.
And to the programmers from Viridithas.

Frank

Its interesting to follow the work from Jim and to compare NPS from Jim's versions with the versions by the programmers. Clover for an example is clearly faster with Jim's compile.

I'm having lots of problems trying to compile working Viridithas 14. Any build using sse 3/4, popcount , avx 1/2 , bmi 1/2 will not work. Only build that will work is generic V1 (on Windows 10) without those instructions. I haven't tested Windows 11 yet.

I also get this message on my very old PC and with the original "exe" in my shredder gui ### this is not an uci engine!!! ###

In Arena 3.5.1 it works very well...

Hi Jim,

Thanks again for compiling motor 0.6.0! A new version, 0.7.0, is now available. Would you be able to compile an Android version for us?

Thanks,
[Joseph]
