Thanks Mr. Igel, It works nowvoffka wrote: ↑Thu May 06, 2021 6:21 pm Hello bastiball,
All last five (or so) versions of Igel support bench. It's just that for Igel 2.7 and Igel 2.8 you had to click on Igel app and inside the console type the word bench. On latest Igel 3.0.0 and Igel 3.0.5 you need to pass the word bench into command line, for example:
igel.exe bench

Re: Introducing Igel chess engine
Hi Mr. Voffka!
A strange request:
Could you also compile Ethereal 13.0.0 github for ARM64 NEON Windows 10?
I would like to test it against your Igel 3.0.5 ARM64 NEON. Despite the fact that your engine is strong when playing against all the other engines on macOS M1, against Ethereal it is losing heavily and I'd like to verify that in an engine-engine match on Windows 10 ARM64.
Best regards, AlexChess

Re: Introducing Igel chess engine
Hello Alex,

Best way is to ask author of the Ethereal to compile it, as I am sure it is going to take him much less time that it would take me

Re: Introducing Igel chess engine
Done, but he doesn't support different builds from the standards. Never mind..
PS: I like very much Igel and I hope that you will compile every new update also for Windows 11 ARM64

Hello Alex,
ARM64 is getting more and more traction these days both on Windows and macOS, so yes, I am definitely going to support this architecture now and in the future.

Re: Introducing Igel chess engine
Your Igel 3.0.5 ARM64 Neon is very stable (it has never crashed) and I appreciate all programmers that experiment own alghoritms and NNUEs, that isn't the easy way to build a chess engine

Thank you!!!

Voffka, when you have a new NNUE to test, let us know. I'm very happy if I can contribute to Igel 3.x success testing it on all ARM64 operating systems
