16....f6 was expected really. A good multi-purpose move.
I'm voting for 17.Nd2, clearing the way for a probable f4.

"backward" moves are starting to become contagious i see
:P

considering Bd3 or perhaps even Na3

BL has Nb6 here with a double attack against our c pawn ..i dont care for Qa2 to protect it or Nd2 to protect it
