I wonder how many of the people who have made multiple requests/demands have actually sent you some money as a thank you for for implementing so many of them, or even for taking all the time to make this terrific tool. I'm guessing few...or none....

I notice that the latest executable is flagged by Windows Defender and will not allow its download.

nothing I can do about false positives in shitty defender, btw !ml stands for machine learning, so some slop flags it
my only advice would be get a real antivirus perhaps

Hi Martin, I have a problem using two of my books for a tournament. I have set them up under books with 14 ply and when I select them in a tournament then Myracle hangs and do nothing any more. The books work fine under Arena and Banksia. Don't know if I made something wrong. Here the books https://descent.at/files/Chess/books.rar
One other thing, can you add an option to shut down the PC when the tournament is done? Can save some expensive energy these days when it ends midnight. Thank you!

EDIT: I've just noticed ply limit doesn't work for polyglot books at all (it should work for eng-eng matches), so this is definitely a bug
as for shutdowns: like I said please bugs only, also having a chess GUI shutdown my pc seems a way too aggressive behavior

Ok, I got it working. I deletet the whole Myracle folder and installed the new v71 bundle and set an exeption to defender. As you said max ply didn't work on large bin books. Used most my seven move book so I didn't regonize it.

Hi, there’s no need to apologize; you made a good suggestion. Arena is a massive undertaking—improving its GUI isn't something that can be done overnight.
I got that warning from MS Defender too. So, I removed all the Myracle components and downloaded it again; the warning disappeared immediately after that. I didn't need to set up any exceptions in Defender—that’s generally a bad idea, and I’d never do it.
Anyone who insults posters, users, potential customers, or supporters here by calling them trolls really ought to take a hard look at their own behavior.
