From what I've read, you need to use the engine in the Shredder GUI first before it will work under Fritz.

Yes correct or else you can't bring in your registration stuff, althoug I didn't occur to me that this was Daniels problem.
This post may either be cause or result of misunderstandings.

You are right Graham

I registered 1 time for the shredder GUI

My fault I was too glad to have the new Deep Shredder UCI
and I directly set up a eng vs eng in Fritz GUI !!!

Didn t know that you have to enter name and key a second time when you select Deep Shredder inside the shredder GUI to active the UCI Engine :D:D
