A new version of Kvetka is available - Kvetka 1.1.

Now you can copy online chess games directly to Kvetka via clipboard.
It also supports different languages. You can find the first 'unofficial' English translation here:
http://kvetka.org/download/engtext.lng

You should rename it into text.lng to be able to use it.

English version of the site is still not available but may be you can catch the idea from the pictures:

Kvetka 2.3 and English version of the site

Post by _wp_ »

A new version of Kvetka is released: Kvetka 2.3!

The most remarkable change in new version is an improvment of games recognition algorithm. Online games with many comments and variations will be reconized sufficiently better. Additionally chess tags support is added and all the discovered bugs were fixed.

Another good news for english-speaking users: we've made an English version of Kvetka webpage. We are indeed grateful for any correction as English is not our native language.

Thanks again - why not include plugins in package rather than separate download? :D

mark eschle,
As one of the main features we try to make Kvetka as small as possible. Therefore we move some of the functionality to plugins.
Maybe we'll make two versions of the program: light and full.

Good idea Pavel

Can i make some other suggestions
1. Can the engine config files be in the same folder as the app for portability. (good app to keep on your usb key)
2. I would prefer glaurung 2.1 and bright 0.3a included as they are better analysis engines (rybka 2.2n2 too but it is large exe)
3. I still cannot open some pgn's - a pgn from game 9 wcc in bonn will not open - but fine in arena (it has comments)

Cheers!
