For record purposes:
Telepath was running as 1 thread on a Q6600 OC'd to 3.2 GHz.
The machine (named Thor) is running Linux (Ubuntu).
Telepath was compiled as a 64 bit executable using g++.
Telepath typically gains 2x in speed from a 64 bit build compared to
a 32 bit build.

actually Charles the SSDF rating is reduced by 100 Elo because of the rating inflation adjustment that took place in 2000
many computers simply got their rating reduced and not tested again
Collectors do not consider this artificial rating reduction when quoting the rating of the London and also for many other dedicated computers
that is why you see two columns on Kurts rating list that i sent you
look to the column on the left for the rating collectors really use
it is the SSDF PRE 2000 Rating reduction column while the column to the right is the reduced rating
two other highly respected rating lists still active today .. Selective Search(UK) and Schachcomputer.info.(Germany) each show ratings for the London in the Low 2300's confirming the pre adjusted SSDF Elo rating.of course the SSDF is still the premiere rating organization in the world today..it is only the 100 pt reduction that collectors do not really adhere too

i also enjoyed the games and i thank you for the challenge
Telepath was in command in both games and at no time did the London have even a slight advantage worth mentioning
you should be quite pleased with your Engine especially considering that you work on improvements only in your spare time

as to the fate of my Mephisto London...
well of course i am not pleased at all by this less then Sterling performance .just to show i do not harbour any ill feelings towards the London though.. i will simply say i will forgive and forget this debacle and as a result.. i will be putting it up on
