Yeah that only goes to show you how close the contest is between the evenly matches engines.

I expected better from ChessTiger. It didn't play like a first category engine at all. With more games, it could do better though.
Now stop with all that logic stuff!

Well I was one of the last lot to choose, so I had a limited selection. But I was very happy with CM Archangel and Movei. The other two I don't have a lot of experience with. Let's see how it goes from here. Beginner's luck perhaps

C'mon Graham - 1 point?! I demand a rematch!!

Was one of the games going on too long on Saturday night and you adjudicated a draw when my engine was winning?!!

TEAMS KNOCKOUT TOURNAMENT

Intel Q6600 Quad Core
ChessGUI
128mb hash each
3-4-5 piece tablebases
Ponder off
HS-Large Remis book (limited to 12 moves)
40 moves in 32 minutes repeating (adapted for the CCRL)
Each match will consist of 32 games
All engines 32-bit 1CPU


Semi Final Matches

(19.0-17.0) Eran v Kenny (after sudden death)
(19.0-13.0) Ray v Brian

so the last 2 to pick teams are in the finals. I guess since Eran was last, he will come in first.
