Yes, i remember Vladimir Yelin, and our discussion about him. Kaissa? Why Kaissa? Why did you pick Kaissa from that list of engines? Kaissa had a problem with losing on time? So what, i'm sure many engines had/have this problem.

Alex said this, Frank said that, so what? Much was said, by many, about Vas and Rybka, remember? A lot of evidence was presented, comparing chunks of code, and were not the results of all this inclusive? Where is that kind of evidence and comparison in this case?

You can't, but there is a lot of mileage in the theory Gabor. The politics, the disaffected attitude, the language. Of course it could be wrong, but if ever there was a character profile of someone that matches Yelin, it is the Ippo guy.

Also there is the UCI parser, the lack of time controls, losing on time. With an open mind you have to say there is more than a little coincidence.

The silence of Vasik Rajlich,yet again,is annoying not say unrespectful for his fans and clients....

It was made very clear in the Rybka forum it is a clone, there's even a sticky about. They don't allow discussion, which is understandable, given that every Ippolit download can hurt Rybka sales.

Calling an author (which does identify himself, unlike the cloner) a liar and then demanding that he explain in a way that you can understand (which is nontrivial and would take quite some time) just exactly how you know the engine is a clone (which will unavoidably pinpoint some key tricks/differences in Rybka) is UNRESPECTFUL OF YOU, not Vasik.

Why is it the job of the honest author whose work as stole to meticulously explain how the thief did what he did (thereby perhaps helping other thieves)?

I'm telling you: it's not.

But the more laughable is the fact that I see people warshiping a piece of software and it's maker and are ready to believe anything he wants them to believe in without bothering himself to respect them and give them clear answers when a major issue like this surface the computer chess scene....

It was the same with Strelka. No matter what anyone says people are just going to do what suits them. In the very first post about Strelka you were all told what it was and it's origins. That did not stop long and very boring threads like this.

As to hero worship of Vas? No. I believe what I see and if I need to be reassured about it, I ask various people who probably know even better than me.

I understand all of this Christopher,but to clear myself a bit I'll give you an example:

Remember when Fritz 12 appeared on the market and you as a client were not satisfied because it's full of bugs,the engine's performance is disappointing,etc....well you can say that my feelings here are similar....
I've purchased everything Vasik has thrown to the market and I gave my money with a big smile on my face....I've been waiting for a Rybka 3 bug fix for....wait,I can't even remeber....IIRC,it was supposed to be Rybka 3+,right

I didn't have my updates as long as all the other customers and now when I demand a simple statement clearing up this whole mess,what happens?....an author of a mediocre strength commercial chess engine is literly attacking me and putting words in my mouth....
