No reason, rather than that is is a bit overwhelming to keep track of the latest version for every engine in this tournament

I will let #16 to #19 play a private tournament, replacing myrddin with the latest, and accept the winner into the final qualification as well. Sounds good?

I don't know if this will happen when run in chess for android, but it did happen to me when testing it in droidfish, at least during droidfish development when I installed new droidfish versions using eclipse.
Thanks for the information. Jim, will you be able to provide me with the fix?

The reason I mention it is because myrddin0.85j seems to be performing well below par.

I will recompile Texel and post back here later.

Looking at the games, it plays way too fast. Did this older version honor the "st" command at all (latest version seems to)?

Re-qualification match for myrddin update, one second-per-move test tournaments played from both sides of the first position in the Nunn opening suite. Latest version also has better time control (which would benefit several of the other engines too).

Games available at the tournament website.

Engine myrddin-086-ja will play in the final qualification round too.

Code: Select all

                         1 2 3 4 5
1 myrddin-086-ja ** 11 11 11 11 8.0/8
2 exchess-054-beta-ja 00 ** 01 01 ½1 3.5/8
3 myrddin0.85j 00 10 ** 01 10 3.0/8 9.00
4 fairymax48l-ab 00 10 10 ** 01 3.0/8 9.00
5 zzzzzz-351-ja 00 ½0 01 10 ** 2.5/8

Arasan 14.0.1 is much weaker than the current released version (15.1), but I do not have a 15.1 Android compile.
