rpiStockfish (on Raspberry Pi) disappointed a little. At least, when you compare it to rpiTogaII.

Were both engines exchanged by mistake? I assume they are both run by Folkert.

Nightmare did well the first 6 rounds, after this it's luck run out.
The last round Nightmare was tricked into one of Rookie's book variations, it was unable to solve all the complications in time.

I'm happy that the problem that plagued Nightmare for so many months is finally fixed.
The engine got mistuned due to that bug, now I have to start tuning it all over again, which takes time.
Maybe wise to let it like it is, and start working on finalizing the new version.

I don't know what went wrong with zurichess since I didn't watch the games. If anyone recorded the games I would like some pgns to verify. The same version is running fine on FICS without time issues. Due to traveling, this month I used different platform and hardware which I didn't test before. I hope things will be better next month.

I don't know what went wrong with zurichess since I didn't watch the games. If anyone recorded the games I would like some pgns to verify.

You can retrieve the games from the ICS by using the command "hist zurichess" to get a numered list of the 40 most-recently played games. And then use "smoves zurichess NUMBER" to let the ICS print the moves of that game (which XBoard will capture, so that you can save it from there as PGN, or step through the moves).

Very curious, yes Rxa3! would have seen Cheng win or at least draw. b5?? was bad !

Thanks for the position, I saved it to my test set.
In fact, Cheng doesn't see Rxa3 even after long thinking, it doesn't understand this position at all.

Simple is the new demo engine I started writing last week, with almost all features disabled. It ended higher than it deserves, as it had to play all the weaker opponents. It really isn't any better than microMax yet. But it managed a nice win in a KRKN ending against Isa.

Zurichess forfeited almost all games on time, usually after 3 or 4 moves.

Even Zurichess last minute was enough to win from Skipper. It started moving quickly in last thirty seconds and it found a mate.

Hmm, most engines see Rxa3 very fast. However my older Komodo6 is struggling a bit (12 minutes on single core and counting).
So I guess it's more important to reject b5 quickly than to see Rxa3.

I had not expected them to join so I accidenteley had my book-calculation still running (1,5 month left). That sucks up half the ram and at least 50% cpu of it.
