This is clearly one of the more amazing games in general ( I want to make a point, too) , but it is typical for the general phenomenon ( and please feel free to play it out a little further, if you so wish :D).

You will see that Stockfish always gets huge depths in the PGN, much as expected.

To your question about thinking time and depths: these are games with ponder on, and they are operated manually on two nearly identical notebooks. The engines are set up in a very optimized way. I guess my ability to operate Crafty isn't in doubt - when it is about Stockfish, the PGN should be sufficient to show, that everything was done in a decent way.

Yes. Several of these draws could be avoided with a simple opening book. This is still some statement: if Stockfish can't beat Crafty often enough in C67 ,this would mean, that is has to deal with similar problems as human grandmasters. Don't get me wrong: Stockfish is plenty strong, but if is has a tendency to go into these drawish lines in general, this tendency will stay. It will just be harder to show it in a game. Anyway - I guess we have reached some common understanding in this thread - I don't have to offer other points for the time being.
