Finger nails are marginally tasty, I say toenails are a delicacy and you should leave them alone.

I've modified Romi to read a file 'romi.per' when it starts up.
It contains lots of evaluation parameters (mostly pawn eval)
which you can alter.

Does it improve the strength Jim? Did you optimize the values in Romi.per or are they just default values?

It's set at default values. You'll have to tweak it yourself :)

You don't have an improved Romi personality ready to go yet.

What's taking you so long?

I have no clue what any of those things are. Anyhow, what kind of range is recommended? If you give me the choice, I will change all those values to 100. May be you should change the name of the engine to THE KING.350 (dont tell them about the misplaced period) and lot of people will try to edit the values thinking it is the actual king with a JA personality file.

No set range, those are just straight forward modifiers to the piece square tables. You can try all 100's, it could be funny. Also someone may be able to get some weaker personalities to play against if they wish.

As soon as I understand Jim's code I will try to make things a bit more robust.
