Don't worry, the exe of Thinker is beeing carefully examined, soon there is going to be a clarification about how good cloner Mr Perkins really is...
Having the people you know, working on such an everlasting task, would seem to me to be quite a good idea from a "keeping them occupied" point of view......

Hello Damir,

Is there any possible defence for this post or should I simply go ahead and regard it as a nonsense?

Please do not allege without some proof to back it up.

Later.

no PV output, no ponder, no analysis mode nothing... Is that good enough

for you ?

It is pretty obvious Mr Perkins is trying to hide something.

Yep. For free it's very good. I have a lot of fun with Thinker (and for that matter Thinkerboard).

Well Lance Perkins is an anagram of "Prank License" after all.....so you must be right.

You know i'm really glad you are here Damir. Who else would save us from all this unsavory stuff? What would we do without you and your reputable team of blemish free justice fighters.

I'd like to say thank you on behalf of the community for the sterling job you do. (What is it you do again?) Anyway.....thanks

;)

Chris

PS Do you think Lance is related to Prince Charles or a Rothschild? It would be a scary coincidence if he was.....no? Maybe the four horsemen of the apocalypse are not that far off after all?

Anyway, once again thanks. Keep up the "good" work........

;)

If I have to say something about which clone Thinker might be of, I would go for Diep. I am sure Vincent will agree with me.
Though optimized Strelka might also be a good candidate, as GCP once mentioned. The question is, does Jury Osipov have a courage to dissamble it, and take a peek inside, since some people here have certain double standards concerning clones, and what engines should be regarded/regarded not even though they are...

Damir, make such statement that a given program is a clone based only on guesses is as evil or even worse than cloning itself.

The absence of some output info or other features doesn't prove anything at all. Although, obfuscate the output may be some sign of wrongdoing....

No,but lets wait and see Jury's findings. Just because you like author and the way his engine plays, does not mean he is innocent. Rybka author too seemed like a nice person, and look all the mess in the comp chess world today because he seemed like a ''nice guy from his outward appearance''.
If he is innocent, than he has my apology.

If it has anything to do with liking an author as you say, then you are more deluded than i first thought you were. The only thing this has to do with is the apparent need to find out in whatever way what it is that makes something strong. I don't see Juri disassembling anything weak, so lets not kid ourselves on.

It is a fine excuse to make another Strelka though, don't you think?

Sometimes just sometimes.......
