CCET - competition terminated - ranking continues to be expanded

Post by fkarger »

Unfortunately, the effort required to review the submissions for the public competition has proven to be too great.
It’s simpler (and more accurate) to conduct the test runs myself.
Therefore, I will generate the following entries in the sense of the renowned Hard-Talkchess-2020 test suite (see
viewtopic.php?t=72902&hilit=hardtalkchess ) myself.

With this, the competition is now terminated, although I will continue to expand the ranking moving forward.

As before, the test suite remains available to everyone, and I look forward to your feedback! :)
All information can still be found here: CCET Homepage

Now, to the award ceremony:

The winner of the Open Competition is Mark Young with an impressive 106 points!
Mark’s dedication and creativity have left a significant mark on this competition and inspired new experiments.
Congratulations, Mark! 🏆🎉👏

The winner of the Standardized Competition is Daniel Reist with convincing 64 points!
Daniel leveraged his expertise in lesser-known but powerful engines to secure this position.
Congratulations, Daniel! 🏆🎉 👏

I’d like to once again thank all participants, developers, composers,
and enthusiasts who made CCET possible and provided valuable input.

Thank you all, and happy solving! :)
