I don't want to sound condescending but the comment about the Winboard forum "being a private members club" might be close to home. Winboard was supposed to have been replaced by the UCI. Why cling on to it?

One protocol cannot replace the other because they have complete different philosophies. Besides, there still more winboard engines than UCI and there were discussions in WB forum about UCI engines too.

I did learn a lot there. I can;t remember if i posted there. I did
read the post and did visit there quite ofter.
I was a member under my real name.
