At one time that is all I used on ICC, used to kill all the computers back then with it. With it's unique attacking engine.I wouldn't mind seeing an updated version along with SMP capabilities. It did have a good bang for the buck as a chess program compared to others on the market.[/quote]

since when??

u can play it on a duo core or quad or whatever but I believe it is not programmed to take advantage of it?

I always liked gandalf's positional style. It had a tendency to make moves other engines did not want to make yet they were sound.
