Seems to be a cgb book problem with ChessGUI.
No problem with the ctg book (in Fritz GUI, 8. b3??? is not in the book)

My main goal is that, each opening line/position should be with winning percentage around 55% Whites and 45 % Blacks

Dear Graham,

Now i see why you dont prefer to use Perfect book series :)

Thanks, but this is really very strange...
I have no any single game with the current position, played on my computers

It seems, its a ChessGUI bug or i am really not sure why this position is available

To be honest,
I am not very familiar with Chess GUI

Due to i have no free much time and to avoid such opening bugs:
-Unfortunately, the next releases of my Perfect books are planning to be compatible only for Fritz, Shredder, Arena GUIs

Btw,Perfect 2012a book does not include this bug opening position in one of my favorite GUIs:

Greetings,
Sedat
Very strange that the line occurs in Perfect 2012a,cgb when it doesn't appear in other GUI versions.

When ChessGUI creates an opening book from a pgn file, it doesn't take weightings into account as far as I'm aware. It just includes all lines once.

However, this line doesn't occur in your pgn file, so not sure what could have happened.

Perhaps Matthias might comment.

By the way, you'll see that my Super Tournament XVII is using the Perfect 2012a.cgb book that you sent me.
I do use your books, but I like variety, so I use many others too.
I do appreciate your efforts. :)

I know too (like many others) that you are regular user of my books since many years

Actually its a good that you are testing the engines with other variety openings

Btw,i am working on a varied opening book, which will include the most classic openings

A few notes about your work,
Your efforts for Computerchess is just great !
