Re: Move 22...
Why you like Rf7 and not Rb8?

Re: Move 21...
Maybe moving the game to this subforum decreased the interest of the people who just browse the main forum? Just a guessSteve B wrote:Hmmmm
only two votes after 8 hours
and only 4 votes last move
i wonder if there is no longer any interest in playing out the game?
another possibility could be that some players tried to log on earlier today but with the TC server down they were unable to do so?
i know Ray is waiting in the wings until this game ends to start his 960 game..11 players seemed interested in playing 960(according to the poll)
if there is little interest left i would offer a draw and step aside for Ray to start his game
Thoughts Anyone?

Or......it should be organised from the outset in the right way. Maybe they need to see how we work in public? They will never see our private deliberations.....this I know for a fact. We still await the "gallant" Hiarcs team and their nobodies.Spock wrote:Or people are busier at the weekendstano-urayoan wrote: Maybe moving the game to this subforum decreased the interest of the people who just browse the main forum? Let's see. Maybe they come off their high horse.
Until then, Ra7 gives us an opportunity to not repeat moves and therefore not sue for a draw. In fact we can try both moves to see if the computer wants something different.
I am very happy with the team we assembled. We are undefeated as well which is much more than we can say for some others......
Softly softly catchey monkey.

Yes, I'll vote Rf7 as well, although I don't see a lot of difference in the moves.Zach Wegner wrote:I like Rf7 here.
Steve, is the guideline 24hrs per move for us ?

24 hours as a rough guideline or until one vote is the clear vote getter if there is no leader after 24 hours
seems fairly obvious that the move will be 22..Rf7 but there are still a good 12 hours left for this move and for players to change their minds or vote for another move so lets keep the voting open for now

Rb8 leaves the K side unprotected. Qe7 could be annoying in certain cases.
