Louis, I suggest you to play Qg3. :)
SF plays to g3---but with the king, not the queen:
[d]1r6/7k/r1b3p1/1n1qPp1p/1BpP1P1P/p1P3K1/R4Q2/R2B4 b - - 1 5

Lost too much time in finding mate.
Should have been playing for a simpler win.

Draw and nothing else
If I ask SF, I would have drawn the game some 100-200 times by now: it suggests drawing lines on every single move.

Joerg is right, something is very wrong with SF draw detection, might probably be related to the time the engine spends when lagging behind in score and seeing a draw; it just grabs it, but the better approach would probably be to still search further, if you are not very low on time, maybe you will find something better.

So maybe the excessive amount of draws in SF is related to the time the engine spends on analysing other moves, when it sees a draw. Of course, the framework will never detect this with 15 sec. per game.

SF likes Be2:
[d]1r6/r6k/2b3p1/1n1qPp1p/1BpP1P1P/p1P3K1/R3BQ2/R7 b - - 1 2

Shall we abandon this as a draw? Or do you see winning chances for Black?
In any case, I will be in and out today, so no need to rush.

Of course I do, not winning chances, but a straightforward win for black; it might take some 30 moves though.
In any case, I have some 40 moves more left until the 50-moves rule.

I still have not forgotten how SF tortured me with endless shuffling moves in our last game in November.
Time for a bit of revenge now.

But of course, I think we both agreed each one of us has 40 days to make a move - so I will expect your moves within this time limit; same with mine, I am also a bit busier than usual.

I would have gladly abandoned the game, if it was not so interesting; but the point is, that it simply intrigues me.

OK then, let us continue as your win reveals itself. Stockfish chooses Qe3:
[d]1r6/r4q1k/2b3p1/1n2Pp1p/1BpP1P1P/p1P1Q1K1/R3B3/R7 b - - 3 3

Stockfish sees absolutely nothing for either side. It plays Bd1.
[d]1r6/r4q1k/6p1/1n2Pp1p/1BpPbP1P/p1P1Q1K1/R7/R2B4 b - - 1 2
