5.-, Bc5 - how about a reply like 6. Be3? The threat is 7. Nxe6, so the bishop have to move again, probably back to f8 (with no developement), or capture on d4 after which we have a problem on g7 and no developement except Bb7.
I don't see that Black has time for the g6-Bg7 manouvre, White plays on with the Ndb7 plan.
If Nf6 is Bg5 a troublesome move?, maybe not because Qa5. I am thinking if Bc5 Be3, Qb6, if Na4 Qa5 +

But what we have after Nf6, Bd3?
No, Bg5 is not the best reply to Nf6.

After 5.-, Nf6 6. Bd3 there's Nc6, Qb6, a6 or Bb4 for instanse. With the bishop on the d-file, Ndb5 is less of a threat.

Not directly surprised, Steve - bold it is, the Tasc...

From previous posts and analysis, my vote goes to the obvious Nd5.

6th move

Post by Christopher Conkie »

It's a choice....Nd5 or Ne4.

I personally vote for Nd5.

e5 by TSAC R30 gives us just the chance we need imho.

Nd5 for equality I say. Then we turn the screw......

It's a rust bucket regards

The only two worthy moves are Nd5 and Ne4. Nd5 has the edge.
