There are several reasons as to why somebody would want to sting Vas in such a manner, some mentioned in this forum. The real truth could be even more surprising.

All very mysterious, Alexander. Talk to some of your well trusted friends who might be in the know.
It's really amazing how some ppl are trying as hell to raise their self-importance, by giving fantastic theories that only they are aware of, or by presenting themselves as close friends to some "important" ppl (like Vas :D).
Now to sound like Rofl, I think their fight against "anonymous authors" is in reality the fight against their own anonymity, which they are trying so badly to escape.

Ruxy, did you really expect that after you came into capitalism, crime would be the only way of making money? I agree that life in jail here is still better than life in poverty...
I think this question should be directed to Vas: Why has he decided to make money by copying a GPL code and make it stronger after that?

Oh Lord, please don´t let me be misunderstood."

He, he, he, my dear Rolf !

1. In my country the crime is a low level . Consult the statistics please.Don't confound-please- the Romanians with some nomad people being in eternal holyday in West !
2.Don't tell me about communism & capitalism ! I lived in both societies. Practical not theoretical like you ! So..........shut-up please !
3.After 20 years of the so - called capitalism I prefer to play chess !
Ok, maybe to drink Cola and sometimes to take a look in Playboy ! Nothing more ! Otherwise my 0,2 (euro ) cents !
4. A curious fact for you ( I think ) - I'm a legal owner of near all modern computer chess programs: from Chessmaster to Naum, from Shredder to Fritz , from Rybka to Chess Tiger ......... Ask please the authors, Lokasoft, ChessBase..... Not the same thing for a lot of fans of computer chess from the rich West ! Why ? Will be a good response for a " philosopher" like you !
5.RobboLito is a nice engine. Prove please the authors are criminals ! I don't heared the authors to make money from this engine !?!?!?
6.Life in jail ? I think you an healthy man ?!? RobboLito is just a chess engine not the presumed chimical weapons of Saddam !
7.Seems the money are in ADN-ARN structure of some westmen ! Here is the main problem !

Regards,

I am not proud to announce that Rybka on 4-core is not surprisingly better than Robbo on 1-core:

Robbolito 0.09 w32 - Deep Rybka 3 32-bit (4 threads)

21.5-28.5 (+10 =23 -17) 5'+1'' 5moves book ponder off

I was talking about what VR said, not what I believe. He said it is Rybka 3. Verbatim code, extensively used. Thats what he said to me.

Maybe he told you something different. That's not my fault.

He said he cannot talk about details, because this would help the "cloners". I have no idea what kind of details would help the cloners. This sounds just like an poor excuse. And I think it is a poor excuse as long as VR don't give at least one hint: What is Robbo, and how he found it out.

Again you say that I am involved. This is a cheek. I am not involved and I have no well trusted friend who is involved or knows more about Robbo than I do.
Graham Banks wrote:The fact that none of the testing groups will bother with them is another.
This will change. If not, the testing group just fears not to get the latest Rybka engines for free.

I did't look on the logged on users.

I mean your average responding time of 15 minutes. 15 Minutes to see a new message and write an answer. You are addicted and you proofed it yourself. Addicted people come with excuses :)

Really, get some fresh air.

1. Vas hasn't told me anything more than what he originally stated.

2. I have not implicated you in the dishonesty with what I said. Your understanding of English betrays you.

3. If you looked at all the engines I test, you'll not see Rybka figuring prominently, so it amuses me when I'm cast as a Rybka fanboy. I just don't like to see an engine author get shafted and then abused.
Also, the proposed remote Rybka means that CCRL (and CEGT) won't be able to test it anyway, so no vested interest there either.

4. Yes, I'm addicted to computer chess, just as some others probably are. Nothing to be ashamed about in that.

Cheers,
Graham.

And from where do you get your "insider informations"?

Someone who knows more than VR? Ah, I see. But my pixy don't think Robbo is a Rybka clone.
