Well very mind boggling that opening line is for sureM ANSARI wrote:Try running predict the next move in the last gameThe level of play is just mind boggling and hard to imagine humans ever playing at such a level. It really looked to me that SF's 14 ... Ne5 was a killer move ... but Komodo nonchalantly picks off the Knight and gives up the Queen for a crazily material imbalance which turns out to be correct. I don't know if that is a TN, but it should be! Amazing how SF crushingly menacing attack just fizzled out ... I really thought SF would steam roller Komodo on the queenside. The accuracy of Komodo's play was just phenomenal! Great game!!! Need to spend more time analyzing this masterpiece!
It does seem that Komodo has a slightly more accurate evaluation ... but SF is amazing in how deep it can go in a position so quickly. Should be a nice TCEC final!
Though as you presumed 14..Ne5 is not a novelty it is just in the deep fritz 13 book, but has a question mark (?) there.
According to that fritz book 14..c5 should be played for equality.
The opening line is still under much debate and quite fashionable among the GM's
(btw also Komodo recommends 14..c5)
Giving SF more time it will play c5
