I mean look at the position...
Andranik, in such a team event it does not help to fidget about by-gones.
Each one of us saw at some point our clearly better move rejected by the majority for reasons unclear to us.
Should we all weep ?
Team events are about remaining happy even when others have messed things up.
Matthias.
I think I am one of those who enjoys this most, so please don't think this seriously
If some day one of us needs an argument why democracy may not work, we can always cite this game.
The game stopped for me at Rd1 (still going btw at depth 12) which is what ours do.
You should consider this now as an exercise is saving the unsavable.
Democracy takes many forms. There is your idea of it. There is mine. And there is everyone else (either together or individually, depending upon your own point of view).
The creation of disinformation has always been a more cultured concept (governments rely upon it). But the truth always outs itself, if not intentionally, then by the passage of time.
It is not a finite art........the best idea is to know what someone will do next and not to be misled by their intentions however innocent they may be.
Hmmm
only two votes after almost 20 hours
Sigh Regards

Actually I think the King program is handling the position very well for a program that has so little hash. Computers without any transposition tables -I think the TASC is just about the only dedicated with transposition tables Steve, not counting the Resurrection?- at all, which includes practically all dedicated units, are at a significant disadvantage in the endgame. Both Qh4 and Qg5 were not so easy to find moves, here the analysis for Qh4 was a bit higher than for Qg5 for instance, but that may depend on the program and depth reached.
The R30 seems to have the upper hand now, but in a higher sense I think the position is maybe not yet won for White, so if you guys would be very determined to draw, it may still be possible. I am basing this only on some computer scores I have now that are not going up for the alternative moves 36. Qh4 and 36. Rd1 so presumably also not for 36. Qg5 that the R30 played. But the scores are still pretty high for White. The CCC-Team want to play without PC assistance, so I think I better not post the analysis and not vote.

Hi Eelco
actually several high end dedicated computers were released with Hash Table Ram
the first Dedicated computers to make use of Ram For Hash tables were the Fidelity Mach series
as to voting...
well ..there really is nothing written in the rules that prohibits the use of Engines in this game.. but posting Engine analysis probably is a bit against the "spirit" of the match so to speak(although some have already posted analysis anyway)
still..feel free to vote for a move whether you choose to post analysis or not
Thanks much for your invitation, Steve. I am such a poor over the board player though that I would probably lower the elo of the human team by seveveral hundreds of points For instance I was thinking about 36...Kg7 but after a while I see that White has only to play 37.Be6 to win an exchange. And one move before I was trying to get 35..d5 to work but somehow it takes me quite a while to see through all the tactical exchanges. White would just win a pawn with Rxe6. It would be better to start up my CXG Sphinx Titan which has been sitting in its box for many years. I think the 'TASC force a draw' project would lose about a piece per move if I had my way with the human voting.
This forces a queen exchange that helps to stop our Titanic from sinking immediately. No other options.
I hope the game will not last too long for R30.
