Yes, you wouldn't want Kg1 instead of O-O would you
I can imagine the pressure blitz operators are under when playing tournaments, one small slip and it's over

I cannot believe that pondering is now impossible.
I think ShredderGUI can play ponder-on games starting from a pgn file.

Matthias.
I think it is back to normal. I used the "Enter Moves" menu function and got to the previous position, then switched to "Play Against Computer" and made the castle, and now the game is back to normal I think, BigLion immediately sprung into action. All it would have lost are the contents of the hash table

Indeed it has

Incidentally, BigLion is operating with 512MB hash. It seems it won't accept a setting of 1024MB. It seems to reject that setting and stays with a default of 8 or 32MB, can't recall which, But 512 is perfectly fine

BigLion responds with Nd6 and is busy pondering waiting for the forum's next move :)

6.Be2 with the possible plan of d3 followed by an eventual c4.

Rc1

The idea is to play c2-c4 ASAP, freeing c2 for the Bishop or the Knight.

This is starting to get interesting. BigLion has both Bishops with views across parts of the board, and both knights in play. In contrast white seems more cramped, but it is early days.
