Therefore, applying such theory tout court is definitely not the way to go.
Therefore, we have proceeded in reverse: using Stockfish's evaluation function to classify positions according to Shashin and direct both the research and the classical evaluation itself.
Clearly, this is all but trivial, e.g., figuring out how and where to update Shashin values...
"tout court" ?

With 30 threads of a 16x3.5GHz CPU and a 3070ti GPU, 15"/position, mainly at MultiPV=4 (engines without the corresponding mark "MV4" in name in list ran single primary, e.g. LC0 and Ceres not profiting from MultiPV, Koivisto not being able to use it, some others just to show how much gain there is for them with more primaries, Sting so far being the only one solving more single- than multi- primary, Eman's FAD=Full Analysis Depth, HypnoS is Marco Zerbinati's private engine),
I get this one EloStatTS- (Frank Schubert) ranking and rating- list with ShashChess' latest and one but latest version being left in list just for direct comparison:

Hi Andrea!
See you're working with EloStatTS too, that helps a lot, doesn't it?
Thanks for sharing the results and the test postions, just to tell, just now the link at the Battery- site
(260)
https://github.com/amchess/ShashChess/b ... tEpdCA.epd
doesn't work, (404 page not found) guess it's about the same collection you gave in Hard Talkchess- Thread and it's probably under revise?

Best wishes for that and best regards

the link on the site works:
https://github.com/amchess/ShashChess/b ... tEpdCA.epd
Thanks for prompt answer.
Not at my laptop with Windows 10 and Chrome, next one link gives error 404 too.
The 'amchess/ShashChess' repository doesn't contain the 'tests/HardPositions/inputEpdCA.epd' path in 'master'.
Will give it a try again tomorrow with another one browser and PC.

Edit: 260- link from battery- site at a second one try right now did work already.
Thanks again, regards
Peter.

Hello Andrea, I'm not happy with the Shashchess evals. Cannot trust such evals. At around +1 (shashchess) it's not clear enough if White can win this. But if Stockfish says +4, then it should be a clear win. There are many positions that Shashchess loses, because it shows less than +1 even though the position is lost. This is just an example from today:
