REBEL-EXTREME 1.1 is our new STYLE engine where the focus is on playing style and ELO has a less priority. Nevertheless the engine has an estimated CEGT rating of 3350 elo.

Crazy numbers - cant wait to see my testing-results.

I revisited the fast shortie PGN evaluator / extractor. This is what I did, I replayed the elo-3400 15.000 games pool with the balanced openings I am using but now from EPD, same positions, thus much shorter games, also not playing till mate but adjudication after 10 pawns, thus also shorter games. And the results are pretty cool, download link in next post.

In case you missed it - Rebel-Extreme 1.1

REBEL-EXTREME 1.1 is our new STYLE engine where the focus is on playing style and ELO has a less priority. Nevertheless the engine has an estimated CEGT rating of 3350 elo.

Additional info.

Instead of playing from balanced openings (I am using the Frank Q. positions) I also used Stefan's UHO positions and played the usual 45.000 games. Remarkable EAS numbers.

My testrun of Rebel Extreme 1.1 (started yesterday) shows nearly identical results (Celo and EAS) as Rebel Extreme 1.0 ???

I re-downloaded Rebel Extreme 1.1 right now and this version is competely different from the 1.1, I downloaded yesterday???

Today version needs nearly 2.5x more time to finish "go depth 25" and shows completely different PV and eval???

So, I will restart my testrun. The 1.1 from yesterday seems broken or was just version 1.0?
