That were just 3 votes. Your move was posted Sat Aug 15, 2009 12:58 am. Didn't we get 24 hours? My vote was going to be Bc3, also Miguel Ballicora did not get the chance to vote and he has being active in this game.
With 40...Bc3 now you indirectly cover e5, that does not seem such a bad move. What happens in case there is a tie in votes? I would like to vote for this as well, but then we need another vote still :)

40...Bc3
In case of a tie the voting remains open indefinitely until there is a break in the tie..
it is not possible to lose this game by a time default Eelco
usually the case has been that someone changes his vote to break the tie
the 24 hour limit is just a guideline for players to get their votes cast

voting update
Bc5-3
Bc3-2

Thanks Steve,

for the explanation and taking back the last move for now. It does appear there are no more votes coming in :( . I fear that after 40... Bc5 41. Rg4 Kf8 The King will play a strong move and we are in Zugzwang. So even if 40... Bc3 is not going to help a lot, the other road would only give us something playable if White takes directly the pawn Rg4xg6. But maybe after 40...Bc3 the TASC has a strong reply as well, I don't know :?

Bc5

There is nasty check in d6 if we later move the Kf8.

Aha, yes I think I see what you mean! I was thinking Rd3 41. Bb2 but then Bd6 is possible and also after 40. Bc3 Rg4 41.Kf8 Bd6+! Thanks Miguel!

Or is Kf8 better ?
41... g5 then 42. Rxg5+ Kf8 43. Be5 does not look so good to me..
Sadly 41... Kg7, if you want to play that it is not possible I checked that, again because of Be5
