Hi Sedat Canbaz, thanks! About full PGN file:

Hi Rob Nicholas, the full PGN file (eval, depth and move time) will be posted at the end of the match.

Big comeback by Stockfish and the match was back in balance! Houdini was really hammered by Stockfish in the last games.

75% draws???. You really should use a better (more unbalanced) set of opening lines.

It is not because of the openings set used, but 1) because of the very LTC and search depth on Riddicks fast machine and 2) the settings of Houdini ct= 0 and 3) the fact that both top engines are pretty equal in strenght that the draw rate is that high.

...The Starting positions will be drawn from Graham Banks's chess openening library: Graham2014-1F (thank you Graham); for a total of 248 positions! I can't dedicate my computer to this match 24/7, so this test will last a long time! I'm sorry. Stockfish version is 070114 by Ronald de Man (tablebases support).

It does not make sense to use unbalanced opening line only or vice versa. I'm using a rather complete and heterogeneous openings library: Graham2014-1F book (248 handpicked and tested lines). The high percentage of draws due to similar strength of both engines, is certainly not a problem for me. This is not a football match. There are still 400 games, the match is very long!

Many of us are seeing examples of this in the endgame. When SF plays Houdini. I would not say that Houdini plays bad in the endgame. Because most of the other programs would fall to Stockfish in the same position. Stockfish just seems to out search other programs in some endgame positions.
