While I also couldn't care less about how some irrelevant people running a dying event are going to eat their own words, it is obviously funny to see how certain people "not reliably desperate" wanting attention.

The post is a slander: ShashChess is a derivative not a clone of Stockfish, as evidenced by its code and several articles explaining the various underlying ideas that make it different from the original.
I ask the moderators to intervene.

------

I am sorry friend but you have to answer some questions first.

1. Did you inform the ICGA that ShashChess is a derivative on the entry form?

2. Did you get permission from SF team?
I believe that he did both of those.
+1

Ed Schroder you WAS my myth. I have bought a lot of Rebel softwares in '90 from you and I have continued to follow you with Rebel 16, at the point that I have burned my Mac mini M1 while testing it because It has a bad optimization and is the only one to make every CPU very hot after seconds. Here I have received from you only vagons of shit thanks to your EGO. Then you have started to attack others. Why haven't you simply played WCCC24 with Rebel EAS showing your skills, instead of annoying programmers?

1. Andrea has a great relationship with WCCC organizers and they are planning future events together.
2. Even without a direct endorsement, open source nature lets him to modify Stockfish code as he likes.

It looks like his 'teammate' ditched him or the other way around, which was it?

I don't care about any programming no more. There might be an actual victim to this fraud on the ground.
