I wonder whether he realizes that there is already an engine named Gaia?Brunetti wrote: ↑Tue Dec 28, 2021 7:27 pm GAiA 1.0.0 by Gaëtan Serré.

Strictly speaking, GAiA is different from Gaïa. Anyway, I use the convention to add author names to the newest, so for me it's "GAiA (Serré)".Graham Banks wrote: ↑Tue Dec 28, 2021 7:54 pm I wonder whether he realizes that there is already an engine named Gaia?
And I cannot made it work, despite trying many different versions of cygwin libaries. Anyone had success?

Re: New engine releases & news 2021
I used the sync feature in the Cygwin installer to update to the latest version, and it ran for me. It is a Stockfish derivative, with its own neural net framework. It runs very slowly on my CPU. I see it uses tensorflow, so maybe you need a GPU to make proper use of this program.Brunetti wrote: ↑Tue Dec 28, 2021 8:02 pmStrictly speaking, GAiA is different from Gaïa. Good idea, it works now, but not in my architecture. I wouldn't add it to my list anyway, hardly I would call derivative an engine where just a module has been added/changed

The original Fat Fritz 2 was created exactly the same way.
