3 minutes to kick off and no Steve - has he chickened out - clocks will be ticking soon!Harvey Williamson wrote:Hi Steve & Alain,Steve B wrote:well AlainAlainza wrote:Hi,
yes, I have a CC3 but it is not 100% functional : it reset itself in amost every game played (or at least in 4 games out of 5) so it is not reliable enough to play an onlne match.
So I'll simply watch the games and you will have to operate your CC3.
Next time may be regards,

i have been practicing playing with the CC3 having white
i think i can manage the coordinate conversion well enough now to play against Hiarcs with the white pieces
so if Harvey and Team Hiarcs can perhaps agree to it..then Hiarcs will have White in Game 1 and the CC3 will move first in Game two
Practicing Regards
Steve
Yes I think we can agree to this late change in the playing conditions. Hiarcs is just doing its final warm up excercises and in 2 hours it is game on!
Practicing also regards,
Harvey

No But if worst comes to worst, we can substitute my Saitek Maestro on 5 or 10 secs per move.
Re: Hiarcs 0.3 v CC3 - Results
After a late start due to extra openings prep and overclocking by Steve the match was played.
The CC3 won 1.5-0.5, over the Hiarcs 0.3 from 1981. We will arrange a rematch against the much stronger Hiarcs 0.5 from 1983.

Hi Wael,Dr.Wael Deeb wrote:Hmmm,so SteveB was not taking a nap after all
No not sleeping but overclocking and squeezing every extra bit of power out of his ancient chess challenger.
I have to say seriously though that watching these games is so much fun. Also being able to understand the game and see what is going on is also great fun.
Thanks again to Alain and Steve,
Harvey
