Just as a matter of interest, how come you share the same IP address as Jennifer Sarin?

He'd get wasted too in my opinion.
You think so? Joel Benjamin is not your run of the mill GM Graham, if I dare use such a term.

It's in bad form to say the least, to trivialize any GM's ability and Joel Benjamin, even more so.

Do you have any idea what a GM is and how much talent and hard work it is to become one, especially a seasoned veteran like IGM Joel Benjamin?

I'm sorry if I'm being terse, but Joel Benjamin deserves a little more respect than that Graham.

Does he deserve more respect than Ehlvest though? Jaan is higher rated and more active. He appears to have had a win on the board today, so I'm not at all sure he'll end up being wasted, but if he does end up not doing well I don't expect Joel would do much better.

They both deserve respect. IMO Joel is the stronger of the two.

A very nice game for Jaan. As a matter of fact he had a winning position at one point but unfortunately was not able to find the best moves in the time control. You can follow some analysis after Re2 here ...

http://rybkaforum.net/cgi-bin/rybkaforu ... l?tid=1630

Two things ... first of all I must say I was very surprised at how well Rybka came out of the opening. Another thing, you guys are underestimating Jaan, he has an even score against Kramnik and is positionally very strong, although he is not top 10 tactically. He also has been playing a lot against Rybka and probably knows it weaknesses better than any other GM.

If Jaan reads this forum, I have a hint for him ... go to the takkertours website and grab a bunch of games played on Playchess. A lot of those games are played using Rybka without opening books and I think he can get very good positions against Rybka by looking at what inferior lines a non booked Rybka will play.
