Hi!! dou you have some games that you can share with us??Isaksen wrote:Armando P.:It´s a pity that Thomas has stop his work in Toga, this great program had the biggest chances to catch Rybka
Whoever told you that Thomas stopped working on Toga.
Right now there is Toga MP playing on Playchess. By the looks of it, it looks like great improvement compared to the previoust Toga versions.
Of course this version is not yet released to the public, as it needs more testing.

Not only Toga MP, but even more advanced single processor versions of Toga called TogaSE. They're illegal though, I hope the author decides to provide the source code as then it would become legal.Isaksen wrote:Armando P.:It´s a pity that Thomas has stop his work in Toga, this great program had the biggest chances to catch Rybka

Thomas isn't the only one that can work on Toga, anyone can do it. There are many who are working on Toga. I just wish that everyone released the source code, even on beta versions.

It most certainly does not, because this TogaSe incorporates very probably disassembled code from private beta versions of Fruit 2.3.3 by Ryan Benitez. The "author" does not even try to hide this and calls it blatantly 'Toga with Search Focus' which clearly points to Fruit.ArmoredGuns wrote:Not only Toga MP, but even more advanced single processor versions of Toga called TogaSE. Hello Juan,
That is what Ryan Benitez told me in some PMs. There was a thread recently in the Tournaments Forum mentioning this TogaSE. I must confess that I also have this Toga SE on my harddisk and had not recognized that Search Focus must probably be Ryan's development.
These versions -there are several- are still in their zipped state here, never got around to installing them and then I read that thread and Ryan's claims.
There is a read.me involved wich tells of great plans to a Toga 1.3.4 version with Search Focus and multithreading etc. But I think the one who send them to me was acting in the belief that everything was legal and above board and he certainly is not the programmer who made these versions.
Regards, Eelco
