In the next few days I will start sending out the participant packages from AMD.
They will include:
1 Shirt
1 CD
1 Tattoo
1 Sticker
If you are a registered participant or intend to register in the very near future, please email me with your shirt size.
I have from S,M,L,XL,2XL sizes.
Also hopefully by the weekend there will be a contest running on the website called "Pic the PHENOMenal System" where people will be able to upload a picture of their system and other users will be able to vote for a winner. Of course no registration will be needed unless you are entering the contest. I will need to know where to send the prize after all
The winner will receive an AMD Athlon X2 Black Edition 5000+ processor, or POSSIBLY an AMD Phenom 9500 Quad Core processor. The latter is still in the works, but hopefully will come through.
On a side note:
The tournament got a boost by an anonymous contributor, with a donation of $100. This person wishes to remain anonymous for their own reasons and I will respect that.
I want to thank them on behalf of the tournament. They know who they are.
We are in need of some extra money to cover the cost of participant packages being sent, and to cover the cost of the GM commentator in the event the participation level doesn't meet the costs.
