I tried to run the crafty.exe file with Shredder 10 interface and it doesn't load. I think Crafty is a winboard engine so that's why it doesn't load with the Shredder 10 interface.

Yes, Crafty is only winboard.

To use any Winboard engines under the Shredder GUI, you must use the wb2uci adapters. Then there are no problems.
