- new finished Bright 0.2c 4CPU matches 40/120. Update will follow next week
- next engine included will be either Zappa II or the new Toga II. This will depend on the 40/20 results. Zappa will be only included if there is an improvement of more than 20 points
40 / 20:
This week we added more than 2300 games to our list. See more in our list "Games of the week". In total our 40/20 list is based now on 219.445 games! We included a lot of new engines in our list like: Zappa II, ET-Chess, Alfil and Popochin.
New engines:
Very short before we closed the list a new Zappa version was released. Allthough we have had some troubles installing the engine inside Shredder GUI we managed to make 165 games with it. The start rating is 2974. This is around the improvement which was predected. Next week we will see if the engine can hold a +26 points improvement.
Another new engine in our list is E.T.Chess 13/01/08 which could reach 2689 elos - an improvement of 135 points to the previous version in our list.
We also started to test Alfil 8.11 and Popochin 3.1. It looks like an improvement for each engine but both have not enough games and the relation to older versions is not clear as these older versions also have not enough games yet.
Updated engines:
We played more games with 2CPU/4CPU -versions of Toga II 1.4 Beta5c. Now the relations are ok - but the gaps are not very large. The 4 CPU-Version is near Naum 2.1 4CPU - a good result to be included in the 40/120 list.

The other updated engine in our list is Booot 4.14.0 with now 741 games, 2693 elos and a plus of 120 to the previous version. The engine could not hold its high start rating and lost 37 elos this week. I think we tested against too weak engines last week and the engine gained from that.
40 / 4:
We started testing Zappa Mexico II w32 1CPU and made more games with Naum 2.1 x64 2CPU. Interim results as usual in our blitz-forum.
