I can only say something about the sources Wael, I think there are some important and interesting changes made by Teemu. Not just related to Chess960. As I said in the first thread about Toga CMLX 33 files are different from Toga II 1.4 beta5c. If you count typos that did not do any serious damage and different names etc., there must well over a hundred, maybe several hundred changed lines but I have not counted those. Any information about stability and playing strength can of course be helpful, it is not just an issue of which version is the strongest.

Toga II by Thomas Gaksch based on Fruit 2.1.: 1.0 through 1.4 beta 5c
Toga SE by Chris Formula: 3.1.2 (based on 1.3.1), 1.4.1 & 1.4.2 (based on 1.4b5c I think)
Toga CMLX by Teemu Pudas (me): 1.4 beta 5c (the same as TogaII1.4 beta 5c but with Chess960 support), 1.4 beta 5d (some bugfixes, more aggressive futility pruning)
The Real Thing™ (mine): nowhere near ready for a release. Will feature a real parallel search, namely DTS. Massive changes.

Yes. All the bugs except for the FEN one were inherited from Toga II.

Re: Toga CMLX....
1.4.2SE is supposedly an update to 1.4.1SE to get rid of the search bug discovered by Uri. unfortunately, my tests showed that such bug was not completely dissolved in 1.4.2SE. hence, it will not be released to public. fortunately, Thomas found the rootcause of the search bug. let's wait for his update instead.

I'm waiting on a "final" version of Toga CMLX so that I can test it at Chess960
