2nd Annual 2008 World Computer Rapid Chess Championships

Well, last year it was a successful event.
We had 40 entries from 14 countries and about 90% were run by
the authors.

So, lets do it again and have more participation!

To that end, I'd like feed back on dates for it. The format will
be nearly identical to last year. I might change the TC to 25+4 instead
of 28+1 depending on feedback. It will be 14 rounds as last year
with 8 on Saturday and 6 on Sunday. All rules are likely to be the
same.

Now, the question.
Which weekend would you like it?
It needs to be during the summer (June - August), however the
2008 Summer Olympics are being held Aug 8 - 24. Also, the last weekend in
August would be bad for Americans (a national holiday). Another
American National holiday is the weekend of July 4th.

So, that leaves us with these dates to vote on.
June 7,8
June 14,15
June 21,22
June 28,29
July 12,13
July 19,20
July 26,27
Aug 2,3

Just rememebered that Richard Pijl has organized a tournament
for the weekend of June 28th and 29th. So, that weekend is
no longer an option.

Yes, the tournament will be over the internet and on ICC.

So far, June 14/15 and June 21/22 are the most popular
weekends.
