What are you testing it on, to determin Time controls? Winboard? Im asking as I can try and get it better working?

Thanks Mark
Oh man, may be you misunderstood the purpose of my list. The goal is to make a list for testers to avoid due to incompatibilities. Please work on the time management under winboard/Arena, it loses on time 100% of the time in 1min+1sec or 2/0.

Thanks Jimbo, at least you are aware of the problem.

Tony Thomas wrote:Update 29, Tony's no play list Mainsworthy added to the list, from the looks off it, it will be off the list soon, as it is still being actively developed. It doesnt follow incremental or fixed time controls (not in fast games anyway). Tested new engines that are fine includes Schola 1.00, Cheoss 0.649, Chess 2.8, and Sissa 0.4.
Thanks!!!

Andy.

Put Rybka 1.0 beta in it as well, for some reason in Quad it doesn't seem to work well

Put also Yace paderborn - loses on time very often in blitz.

Also not sure why Brutus is not in the list, the time increment bug is fixed in later versions or..?

Guys, I only add engines that I have reproduceable problems with. Yace, Rybka, Fruit etc works fine here.. CCRL and CEGT got tons of games with the above mentioned engines, so may be the programs mentioned above need to be ran through dependency walker.

Brutus does have a time management problem, but it never loses on time here. I have watched all of the games from Brutus 5.4, you think that its going to lose on time after the book moves, but by the time it gets to 2 0r 3 seconds, it starts moving. As long as the opponent isnt super strong, it manages to win.
