Perhaps just a matters of tastes, but....

....but I would prefer to see Christophe and Bob working in his own engines and not muttering a word about Rybka even if -IF- they were right. Nobody can read the heart of other people at distance, but in any case so much time expended in this, so much effort to spread doubts about Vas honesty, so many threads where they appears once and again as main actors seems to me as a badly expended time and stamina and a inexhaustible source of suspicions..
It is a disgrace, but In cases like these you always present the side to anyone looking for envy or resentment as the motive of it. So Bob and Chris does not win nothing, his reputations get soiled a bit and everybody here lose the next Tiger and Crafty.
I know that both of them, if they ever consider fit to answer this, will denoy it and cover me with flames, but it is already writen, so let the party begin...

This first surfaced at least a couple of years ago. Then again later. Then again earlier this year. And I didn't pay much attention. Then it surfaced once again this time, and I didn't pay much attention until someone sent me a PM and asked the question "is it really that likely that two different programmers would produce groups of identical lines of code here and there?" So I looked to determine context and became involved in the discussion from that angle, because student program plagiarism is a well-known and common problem. It has been discussed at length, it has been addressed by developing various semantical analysis programs such as the one from Stanford, and I have personally been dealing with it since teaching my first course in 1970. And I _knew_ that some really bad information was being spread by those saying "this is normal, this is expected, this is aok." And like the BeeGee's final CD title, "this is where I came in..." But I have read the analysis and it doesn't look so good for the "no-way" crowd. But we will see when new evidence shows up...

Well, your explanation of your involvement in this seems fair to me. Nevertheless, still I consider you only has got some bad moments without any benefice. I hope you again will just look the ther side, as before, and just get working for us :-) in crafty.
