These are x64 versions of Stockfish. I'll add more like:
JA 4 , DC 5, DM 2 etc
Best,
Hello Harun, is there any way to spot which one is the "true" Stockfish I mean the official one was compiled by James Ablett also or are these all Dann's version of the code?
By the way I see RobboLito for once is below Rybka in the tables! Maybe is a clone I mean you have not the official version! They sold you a Rybka!
Regards, Eelco
It is difficult, I am sure, Eelco.
Lets explain the things:
I suppose 1.5.1 JA and 1.5.1 JA Intel is clear?
1.5.1 JA = 1.5.1 JA x64 4cpu
1.6.0 first official compile JA
Following two Dann's first versions:
1.6.0 DC
1.6.0 JA 2
Following two Dann's second versions:
1.6.0 DC 2
1.6.0 JA 3
I am waiting Dann's x64 compile of 1.6.2 at the moment.
I am going to call it as: 1.6.2 DC
If Dann publishes a new compile of 1.6.0,
I am going to call it as: 1.6.0 DC 3
Everything clear now?
Best,
PS: Please wait few hours for a new RL
Okay, thanks for clarification Harun. I had not realized that all engines were running with four threads except RobboLito, that completely changes the picture of course, then it is an impressive performance to end up in the middle of the field!
Curious as to your new RobboLito, will that be a g5 like Miodrach mentioned? Who is making these things, is that any clearer yet? Do they have factories, or shipyards, were strong Russian women are labouring long into the night to make new tanks and ships for their fellow comrades, fighting in the Red Army and Russian Navy, to protect the glorious motherland? Singing songs of toil and battle, like Lenin's personal favourite "Bravely Comrades, in step":
Boldly, comrades, stand up!
Our spirit gets stronger in the fight,
let us sacrifice everything for opening
the road towards the reign of freedom.
We are sons of the people,
children of the family of labour.
Fraternal union and freedom -
this is our motto of combat!
For long they held us in chains,
for long hunger wearied us,
but dark days have passed,
and now the hour of revenge has arrived!
Time has come to fight,
fearlessly let us hurry into the battle.
Why should our army fear
the ghostly force of the tsars?
The only thing which kept their thrones,
was the labour of our working hands...
Our crowds will become the cartridges,
on the guns let us screw our bayonets.
With holy faith in our cause,
harmoniously closed our ranks,
into the battle we will march
breaking the yoke of the cursed forever.
Let us throw down with powerful hand
the fatal oppression forever
let us raise above the earth
the red banner of labor!

Debugging is twice as hard as writing the code in the first
place. Therefore, if you write the code as cleverly as possible, you
are, by definition, not smart enough to debug it.

Hi Eelco,
Robbo is team work that is still in progress. There are a few entusiasts that are working and testing new things with Robbo. We have a small group of 6 people now testing and having fun.
I can only imagine the progress if more people from the begining embraced this engine and worked together to make it stronger instead figthing it all the way untill at the end realised that this is not a clone.
The latest version from today is doing very well against SF 16.2.In 9 games 7 wins and 2 draws.Next is Rybka and maybe I will post the results and games.
Miodrag
PS Games just finished with Robbo wining 7 games and 3 draws against SF 16.2 x64 on dual core. Not bad for the former clone.
