Post by LiquidNitrogenOverclocker »

Does anyone use perft for benchmarking anymore? Or is this obsolete as a concept due to the various implementation differences?

I only use perft to test any speedup idea for my move generator, and then to check if nothing is broken (i.e : all the moves are generated).
